Fun at Aliante Park

We went to the park today, although it was much more crowded than usual...so it was hard for the kids to get on all of the swings and other toys, but it was still fun. Auntie Suzie was in the neighborhood so she came along with us. We watched the ducks and then played. Matty had fun on the alligator and started singing his alligator song.

We went home for lunch and naps and Lexi and Matty decided to give each other great hugs and kisses before naptime. It is so sweet how they adore one another!

My cuties

Matty loves to wear his Thomas the train conductor hat all of the time. It is really cute. When the kids are not being puppies, or acting like babies (in the cute way- ask them and they will tell you they are Matty-baby and Lexi baby) they are going around the house in their imaginary train.

Lied Museum:3/7/09

We went with Matty and Lexi to Lied Museum today since it was pretty chilly and windy this morning and we were looking for something fun to do! They had a blast and played with the Clifford exhibit, played bubbles, went in the playrooms, made music and played in tunnels and on airplanes. They did not even want to go when it was time for lunch.

Matty had the best time with a conveyer belt that brought Clifford's bones to his bowl!

( can you hear him counting one through twelve as he turns the wheel to make the conveyer belt move???) It amazes me how he has better one- to- one correspondence than some of my kindergartners? (Lexi too) I wish she would let me record her singing ABC's- because it is so cute!

School Valentine's Day Party

Mommy took Matty and Lexi to their first school Valentine's Day party. It was a lot of fun. They played games, passed out valentines and ate yummy food. Lexi came over to me with cupcake frosting on her face and said "mommy I want a kiss" it was so sweet.

Matty was chosen to help pass out spoons and he was so good at it, and beaming with pride (hahaha.) These are the moments that will stay with me forever. That and when Matty tried to run out of the room and say "catch me, while hysterically laughing.

Notice how most are playing the game and Matty is playing in his own little world- He is fascinated with airplanes. As long as he has fun, right?

They are the funniest little people. They love to be together, even when others are around, and I love to watch them have fun!

Making Valentines

Matty and Lexi love doing crafts these days! They especially love working with glue. They made valentines for their teachers and family. They were so cute calling out the colors as they used them.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
