33 months!

Well it is official, Matty and Lexi are 33 months. Only 3 months from turning 3! I can't believe how fast it is going. Every day they learn new things and try to grow up too fast. They are so amazing, interesting, fun, persistent, engaging, etc. I love how they love...sometimes it can be overwhelming, but in a good way when you step back. They are very creative and have wonderful imaginations. They love to play outside, color, paint, do arts and crafts, play with toys and have a new fascination with Dora the Explorer and Diego. Lexi tries to help Matty say words correctly, especially Diego or as Matty says aigo. She will say "no, no Mattty...D- aygo" She is his teacher, friend, little mommy, and sister.

I love watching them grow...but I wsh I could freeze time.

Happy 33 months my precious toddlers!

(more pics to come when we get them back from Sears!

Matty and Mommy time

Matty and Mommy get to spend a lot of one on one time daily! Matty is an early riser, so we share some special time in the morning. Sometimes we play a game or draw, other times cartoons it is. And still there are the times that we take a ride to the store if mommy needs stuff for work or any other reason. Every time we go to Walmart Matty wants to ride the Elmo car...so finally I had the change with me and his wish was my command.

I love spending special one on one time with the kids. They are completely different when they are by themselves. They are so wonderful and creative...and I am thankful everyday for them...even at difficult moments!

Baking cupcakes

Matty and Lexi helped baked cupcakes for Grandma Elaine because she had foot surgery. They did a great job and really enjoyed mixing the batter!

Passover 2009

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for Passover dinner. Grandpa gave Matty and Lexi a new ball that glows, and Lexi some princess shoes (she loves them, even tried to sleep with them) and Matty a truck ( he loves). They loved playing with everyone and got to spend time also with Aunt Suzy and Nana and Papa.

Playing with Easter Mr. Potato Head

Grammy sent Easter potato heads, and Matty and Lexi decided to use the mouth pieces to become bunnies themselves. They were laughing and playing around so much. It was a lot of fun. I love to watch their creativity in action. Their new favorite thing is to pretend to make you something and give it to you. I thought these pictures were too funny not to share!

Playing outside

Since it is Spring Break from school this week, we have played lots. We went to the Lied Museum, 3 different parks, and also our backyard. We even made chocolate covered matzah and decorated it with sprinkles and other yummy treats.
