Matty and Lexi, & Mommy went to see the Easter Bunny! Lexi was not too excited, but warmed up. They had smiles, but unfortunately the photographer missed them...still cute! At least there were no tears!

We left Tuesday afternoon for our trip to Disneyland. Matty and Lexi were not thrilled to be in the car for the duration--thank goodness for our Mickey Mouse DVD!!!!! We arrived at the hotel about 9pm and the kids did not sleep on the way at all. Luckily they fell asleep, but are they crazy sleepers, kicking and turning. I had to catch them about 4 times from falling off the bed. , rails will do nothing for these kids.

We woke up and had a healthy breakfast at the hotel before going to Disneyland. Matty and Lexi really had fin at Disneyland, there were our fair share of tantrums, but overall they did great; especially considering that we were there from 9am to about 8pm. We went non-stop and did almost everything we planned except for 1 big thing that they said they did not want to do- but there is always next time.

Fun at Aliante Park

We went to the park today, although it was much more crowded than usual...so it was hard for the kids to get on all of the swings and other toys, but it was still fun. Auntie Suzie was in the neighborhood so she came along with us. We watched the ducks and then played. Matty had fun on the alligator and started singing his alligator song.

We went home for lunch and naps and Lexi and Matty decided to give each other great hugs and kisses before naptime. It is so sweet how they adore one another!

My cuties

Matty loves to wear his Thomas the train conductor hat all of the time. It is really cute. When the kids are not being puppies, or acting like babies (in the cute way- ask them and they will tell you they are Matty-baby and Lexi baby) they are going around the house in their imaginary train.

Lied Museum:3/7/09

We went with Matty and Lexi to Lied Museum today since it was pretty chilly and windy this morning and we were looking for something fun to do! They had a blast and played with the Clifford exhibit, played bubbles, went in the playrooms, made music and played in tunnels and on airplanes. They did not even want to go when it was time for lunch.

Matty had the best time with a conveyer belt that brought Clifford's bones to his bowl!

( can you hear him counting one through twelve as he turns the wheel to make the conveyer belt move???) It amazes me how he has better one- to- one correspondence than some of my kindergartners? (Lexi too) I wish she would let me record her singing ABC's- because it is so cute!

Visiting with Grandpa Danny

Matty and Lexi had a great time visiting with their grandpa Danny, or as Lexi says "G-andpa Danny" They played and had a great blast, even though unfortunately we were all dealing with colds.
