Matty and Lexi love their Fish tank that Grandpa Lanny and Grandma Elaine got them! They love to watch the fish swim around and around and keep saying "a fish". Grandpa Lanny even brought over some red fish and Mommy's request for Matty and Lexi to have Elmo fish. They are so cute when they say "Elmo fishhhhh". I thought this was the perfect picture becaus Matty just put his arm around Lexi as they were watching the fish. I love when they are so sweet to one another!

It was inevitable!
Last night I woke up to crying at 12am and I thought Matty was just trying to fll back asleep so I let him cry for a few minutes. He was not giving up so I went to check on him and he was sitting on the floor (OUTSIDE OF HIS CRIB) and crying. I picked him up and he has all of his teeth and seemed okay, I think he climbed over based on how he was sitting. We knew this day would come, but were starting to wonder? Luckily he stayed in his room, I think he was shocked. We went downstairs until about a 15 minutes to 2am. I tried to put him back in his room...but that did not go over well, and since the last thing I needed was Lexi waking up...I let him come into my bed. He finally fell asleep and slept a whol 2 3/4 more hours until 4:50am- Yeah! Yes I am tired! I am proud of Lexi though, she took a 3 hour nap yesterday and then slept until almost 8am! Good Girl!!!!
Now the new question is crib? or bed?????? (I wish I could spell oy veigh)

Daddy's Idea of snack time
When I walked into the house I noticed Matty and Lexi on the floor with fruit and was in shock. Jeff said Lexi took the fruit out . Well in all fairness what that meant in daddy language was that she whined when he opened the fridge and she reached for it. Notice the lack of plates, bibs, chairs, etc. I must say they were extremely pleased with daddy for letting them dig in and quite comfy. Dads...isn't it amazing what they get away with and how simple they seem to make everything

Simple Pleasures
I decided to give the kids a fruit roll up for them to try as an after school snack. I had no idea how much fun and enjoyment they would get out of it. They giggled the whole way home. Check out Matty's funny face. 2 fruit roll ups $0.75, 2 drinks, $1.50, endless giggles and a nice car ride home from school PRICELESS. These are the moments I love, the simple unexpected pure joys.

Our Dare-devil Boy!
Matty is an adventurous little man. He is always climbing things and trying to see what he can get into. Today was no different, he decided to bring his push car outside. I was changing Lexi and thought it was a little too quiet...I peeked out the door and saw him on his car on top of the picnic bench. I went out and took him off. two minutes later he was back up, so I had to shoot these funny pictures. Finally I got him downa nd luckily he did not go back up. He is such an amazing little guy. He is so generous and kind and generally a happy boy. His laugh is infectious and I love how he runs around the house and screams "mommy" all day!

Princess pigtails
Lexi is such a cutie. She is always ready with a smile, when she is not having a terrible two moment. She is so full of love. At school her teachers adore her and always tell me that she needs to be in an Anne Gedde Calendar with her cheeks. I can't believe how much she is growing, and she is a little girl now and not a baby...It makes me happy and sad. Although they like to pretend that they are babies and want me to rock them to sleep. She is still the best cuddler and better than any teddy bear!

Pasta hats
Matty and Lexi love to eat pasta. It is actually one of their
staples that we know they will eat. I decided to pick up some takeout from Carino's since it was a long day. They enjoyed eating, and then enjoyed using the bowls as hats. They just laughed up a storm. It makes me laugh when they get like this. I just adore how even when I have an awful day...they can giggle and I forget all about it. They are truly the sweetest kids. I feel lucky every day that I am lucky enough to be their mommy.

Our Trikes
Matty and Lexi love playing on their trikes. They carry
them around. They even carried them in the house the other day---they are very strong. The funny thing is , is that they usually ride each others. I only make them wear ther protective gear on hard surfaces, in case you are wondering where the helmets and kneepads are...
I can't believe how much they are growing. They are getting into everything these days and are becoming a complete handful. Now I know why parents go to sleep so early... I am proud though, because their teacher said that she wished all of the students were as well behaved and that they are sweet. I melted with pride, now why aren't they always sweet at home? hahaha

cute video of hugs
Matty and Lexi love each other as much as they fight with one another. While we were outside playing I caught this on my camera and thought it was too cute. Lexi just wanted to hug Matty and did not want to let him go. Sorry I could not figure out how to flip view.
Dollies and Paint don't mix.
Lexi was playing with her new dolly from Grandma Rona and Matty decided to paint and color. Everything was going well until Mommy decided to turn and
make dinner. I heard a loud scream and dashed over to see that luckily all that was wrong was that Matty decided to paint her doll. We cleaned her up and all is well again. I wanted to take a picture of the painted dolly, but Lexi would not approve.
