My Gym birthday party

We went to Jake and Jaeger's 2nd birthday party atMy Gym. The kids had fun, despite the fact that it was their nap time. Somehow Lexi found a hidden Binky in the car and we we were unable to entice her to give it up. Oh well, Matty's favorite thing was a zip line swing.

Too cute!

New Spaceship cups

Matty and Lexi fell in love with Kitty and Bell's spaceship cups. We decided to

get them these cups and suffered our way through a Denny's meal, the only place to get them. Luckily they still love their cups to this day!

Funny Hair day!

I remember the recent days when Lexi did not have hair, now she has a lot and sometimes wakes up with crib hair. Plus she is wearing Matty's pj's.

A fun Saturday!

We had a fun filled day. We started the day at Chuck E. Cheese for Caleb and Connor's 2nd birthday party. The kids had fun playing and found a new ride to go on that goes high in the sky. Then in the evening we went out for dinner and ice cream and headed to the park. Matty and Lexi loved the junk food, funny how they mysteriously were not hungry for their dinner, but found room for ice cream, and mommy forgot they had cake earlier...whooops!!!

Are we leaving yet?

Caleb and Connor turn 2!

Enjoying some birthday cake!

Ice cream on a hot summer night!

Lexi and bubbles

Fun on a cooler Vegas day

We went outside this afternoon for some fun, since it was a cool
92 degrees. Yesterday we were all in the house sick and blah, so it was nice to get out. Some bug hit us I guess, we thought it was some sushi we ate, but since other family members that did not eat the sushi got it, I am guessing not. Well luckily the kids are pretty much back to normal and had fun wearing their orange outfits. I am jealous, I never thought anyone could look good in orange, put they pulled it off. In fact I think it is their new signature color.

Uncle Jeff

Ellianna had the funniest face in Uncle Jeff's lap that I had to take the picture. Isn't she a cutie and with such personality at such a young age!

Swimming with grandma

Matty and Lexi had fun swimming with Grandma Elaine after family pictures. They are such water babies!

Seeing our cousins!

Matty and Lexi were excited to see Uncle Newman, Aunt Samantha, Cousin Elijah and cousin Ellianna. They are living in China right now, so this is the first time that they are meeting their new cousin Elliann. Matty adored Ellianna, he loves babies. Lexi had fun running after Elijah! Matty is ready to kiss Ellianna.

Fourth of July Weekend

We decided to get out of the heat and visit some friends that recently moved away to Carson City. We left at 4am on Friday morning to make the long drive, but surprisingly the kids did better than anticipated. We stopped in Hawthorne, Nevada so the kids could play at the park in pajamas no less. Then back on the road, our GPS even had us go on thhis gravelly dirt road for 13 miles, urghhh! Anyway we arrived safely and had a blast with our great friends Emily and Dave and their kids Delaney and Elliot. The kids played so well together and I could tell they were happy to see Delaney. We went to a fair, played at their house and went to the beach at Lake Tahoe a couple times. I think they want to move to the beach. It was a wonderful weekend despite the fact that sleeping was well----rough especially for Matty- whom may have only gotten in a total of 9 hours his whole two night hotel stay..... Well we are back in Vegas and already wish we could back to visit them....but can't we just zap ourselves there?

We are 23 months!!!!!

Wow! I can't believe that Matty and Lexi are already 23 months old. Only one more month of being one! They are learning so many new things! They love to count and can sometimes go to four but usually 2- guess they are getting ready for their big day!
